Chaiwat "Tob" Thongsaeng, born in Thailand in April 1989 in Pathum Thani Province, is a Thai film actor and model and is best known for his lead role in the film Bangkok Love Story in Thai: เพื่อน...กูรักมึงว่ะ which shot him to international fame. In this story about two men in love, Tob plays a character that is tall and muscular, contrary to popular stereotype about gay men in Thailand. He was nominated for the Thai National Film Association Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He graduated from Bangkok' Rittiyawannalai School, before continuing at Sripatum University's Faculty of Arts specializing in Communications Art. So here is an actor who is not only all brawn and good looks, but also with brains.
Tob also represented Thailand in Mister International 2010. Standing at 6' 3", Tob stood out amongst all the other Asian contestants.
Nowadays, Tob is training in the gym almost daily as he hopes to become a professional body builder.
In a recent interview, he was quoted as saying that he wouldn't mind more offers of gay roles.
